FAQ?

Q1. What types of wood are used?
We offer a variety of woods - all chosen for their beauty, durability and value. Unfinished furniture is made from pressure-treated, farm-grown southern Yellow Pine, plantation-grown Cypress, Northern White Cedar, mahogany. Finished furniture is crafted from Old Growth Redwood, Western Red Cedar, Cherry, Alder and South American hardwoods.  We also offer plastic Enviro"wood", Poly"wood", Poly-Lumber and Eco-Lumber furniture manufactured from recycled materials.

Q2. Is the wood durable enough for outdoor use?
Yes, all are highly rated for natural decay and disease resistance by the Forest Products Laboratory.  Pressure treatment deeply protects wood against water and insect damage and pressure treated Pine is perfect for any climate. Cypress grows in southern swamps and is naturally resistant to water and insect decay by producing the compound "cypressine".  Redwood and Cedar (both Northern White and Western Red) grow in cool, moist conditions while Mahogany, Shorea and Jatoba are all dense, tropical woods.  Our outdoor furniture is suitable for the salt air beaches, the rain forests, the deserts and the mountain snows.  

Q3. Can you print my picture or logo on the products?
Yes, we can print your picture or logo on it, and you can offer the picture in any format made by Photoshop or Core draw.

Q4. Is assembly difficult? 
No! All furniture is partially assembled - everything that can be put together has been put together so that all you need to do is attach legs, arms, seat, back, etc.  Assembly instructions are available on the website or are included with shipped items.  All hardware is included and holes are predrilled for easy assembly.

Q5. Can I design the furniture by myself ?
Yes, you can. We will provide two choices for you. One is both design and making process are done by our company, and your suggestion is welcome. The other one is we make the furniture according to your exact order.

Q6.Do CHINEE provides customized services?
A: We always listen to customers’ needs. This is an opportunity to show ourselves and know our customers’ really needs. The time for custom-made goods will be longer, and the prices of products are slightly different from the conventional styles. If you need such service, please e-mail to export@china-outdoor-furniture.com  info@china-outdoor-furniture.com. We can provide you with better ideas and inform you of the Guidance Note.

Q7. Quality control and testing standards are how to build it?
Our company products are strictly accordance with IS9001 quality management system’s requirements. We take "quality first, customer first" as the company quality policy. And put it into practice in every working procedure as the core of the company's quality culture.

Q8.Is it okay to leave my park bench outside in the winter?
Yes, most of our park benches are very highly rated for a long duration to make them very durable.

Q9. Does CHINEE have a catalog?
Our website is an online catalog showcasing the furniture we carry. If you want to know more about a manufacturer or an item that we carry, call a sales associate at 0086-020-85480041. We will gladly send you information via fax, e-mail or postal mail.

Q10. Do bedroom sets include mattresses as shown in pictures?
The mattresses that are shown with the bedroom sets are for DISPLAY PURPOSES only and are NOT included unless otherwise stated. Mattresses are available for purchase separately also in our company.

Q11. How many discounts can you offer?
It depends on the quantity you orders and whether you have ordered products from us before. Also, the choice of transportation type is related. Who pay for the transportation fee and who bear the insurance and the risk are the decided factors.

Q12. What if my furniture is defective upon delivery?
Customers can call our company and place a service request. Our serviceman will contact you to schedule an appointment at your home for inspection repair or replacement.

Q13. How do you start the order?
We will start your order after receiving the down payment which is 50% of total payment. When order finished, we will email you the digital photo for your confirmation. We will send the goods to you after receiving the balance payment
If the order is urgent, you’d better pay 100% in advance

Q14. Do you ship by Sea, Ground or Air?
We do it all. It all depends on which shipping option you would like to choose yourself. And sometimes the address of the destination will have the influence on it.

Q15. Do you pay for the shipping or it is the customer who pays for the shipping?
It is the customer who pays for the shipping. We provide with the quotes only on our merchandise. Nevertheless, we take care of the customer and provide him/her with the most economic rates on shipping whether it is ground air or sea.

Q16. What do I do if there are products missing from the delivery?
We check and double check orders when dispatching to minimize the chance of this happening. In the unlikely event that you have something missing, please notify us preferably on the same day of delivery but in any event no later than 3 days after delivery has been made. We will then look into how and when your order was dispatched and replace the missing product if found to be at fault.

Q17. Shipping time?
The products can be delivery by air or by sea. The approximate transit time by air is 5 working

days and by sea 15-30 days.
